  • Rough Sawn
  • Naturally Rot and Insect Proof
  • Able to withstand severe weather
  • Great for Dry Climates
  • Light Amberish Color, will fade to a gray color over time if not sealed or stained regularly
  • Absorbs Paint and Stains really well, upon doing so will immediately seal.
  • 100% natural, no chemicals, appealing wood smell
  • Rustic Look

  • Smooth Sawn
  • Very Insect and Rot Resistant
  • Can withstand severe weather and elements
  • Best in Humid Climates
  • Comes with a greenish appearance but over time fades to a golden brown color  - if not sealed or stained
  • Needs to dry around 2 months after installation before applying sealant or stain
  • Chemicals ARE added to reduce rot and insects
  • Classic Look

For your wooden pergola you can choose to have solid wood columns (same as your roofing) or you can choose to use the fiberglass support columns that we use on our Alumawood and Vinyl pergolas. Either way you go -  we'll be sure to make your pergola quite spectacular!

  • Wood is much more susceptible to the elements
  • Will fade and bleach over time (if not maintained)
  • Can Crack or Split
  • Susceptible to Fire Damage
  • Susceptible to Termites
  • Not great in humid environments (may rot)
  • Expensive
